Kate Moss celebrated her 42nd birthday by throwing a David Bowie themed bash at her Cotswold farmhouse in honour of her friend who passed away last Sunday aged 69. Invited guests who were told it would be an Ab Fab themed party were emailed after she heard the sad news, saying they will celebrate the legendary singer in style at the party and asked to celebrate his life as well as hers by channeling their inner-Bowie and 80s attire.
Kate Moss spared no expense at her party, attended by family and friends from the fashion and music world including Boy George, who paid tribute by dancing to classic Bowie hits.
The fashion icon's 10 bedroomed farmhouse was transformed with special lighting effects outside, cocktail bars and a speciality burger van. Guests including John Hitchcox from the Lakes by Yoo, whom Kate recently interior designed the Barn House, were treated to a Sunday afternoon at nearby Soho Farmhouse, the new member’s club-cum-country house hotel in the Cotswolds, which has recently become a firm favourite for the 42 year old supermodel.
