The Downton Abbey residents both upstairs and downstairs donned their best hats and gathered around the newly erected war memorial for its dedication service. Words in honour of the falln were delivered by The Earl of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) and Mr Carson (Jim Carter), wearing their medals as a mark of respect.
