The Royal Logistic Corps' Bomb Disposal squad was called to a car park in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, earlier today.
Multiple police vehicles were in attendance, following reports of a suspected shell. The Gloucester Road Car Park was closed around midday today as bomb experts evaluated the suspect ordnance.Police were in attendance to cordon off the area. Once it had been assessed, the ordnance was taken to a field at nearby Southwick Farm and destroyed by
the Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team
