Embattled Red Bull team principal, ­Christian Horner, has had a meeting with the president of Formula 1 and the FIA after hundreds of WhatsApp messages with sexual implications allegedly written by him to a female colleague were leaked, just hours after he was cleared to continue in the role following an internal probe into “inappropriate-controlling behaviour” by the F1 team’s parent company Red Bull GmbH.
50 year old Horner who is married to former "Spice Girl" Geri Halliwell, is one of the most successful team principals in modern Formula 1 and has overseen six ­constructors’ world championships and seven ­drivers’ titles at Red Bull Racing, he has emphatically rejected the allegations saying: “I completely deny these claims.”
