The Daily Mail reports that Frogmore Cottage repayments have already started: “It has been quietly arranged for the couple to start paying rent on the property, beginning last month.”
Harry and Meghan’s monthly payments which are just shy of £18,000 per month account for “a rental-plus agreement in which they pay more than what the commercial rate would be, enabling them to pay down those building costs with the excess.”
The couple will continue to maintain their UK residence due their repayments, following their move to Los Angeles.
After a stint in Vancouver, Harry and Meghan are currently self-isolating in their new Californian home with their son Archie.
