The Downton Abbey crew have been spotted at the Goodwood Racing Circuit in West Sussex. The filming consisted of racing cars of the era doing laps of the track and a large number of spectators in period clothes were seen waving and cheering them on as they sped past. It was rumoured that they may have been going to film a crash scene at the far side of the track, well away from view.
The award winning period drama series is in its final throws although writer and creatoe Julian Fellowes has hinted there may be a Downton Abbey film in the future.
