Oscar-winning film director Sam Mendes captained a Soho Farmhouse XI in a 20-over match against Great Tew and Little Tew Cricket Club in aid of local churches at Great Tew, Little Tew and Heythrop.
England rugby captain Dylan Hartley, his Northampton Saints and England team-mate Courtney Lawes, and England and Middlesex cricketer Nick Compton and Gloucester U19's cricketer Jordan Garret all donned the whites for the Soho Farmhouse Team, the celebrity private members' club popular with the likes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Beckham's who incidentally live just across the road in a their newly converted barn, as well as the likes of Kate Moss, and Cara Delavigne.
